Over the weekend Jewel’s acoustical rendition of the national anthem at this years (2023) Indianapolis 500 left many fans divided. Social media lit up from both sides.
It is no doubt that over the years many artists have performed their own rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” at major events, some more forgettable than others. I loved Whitney Houston’s 1991 rendition, yet not really a fan of Aretha Franklin’s version. So this brings me to ask you the reader a question.
