DHS pledged to “swiftly” investigate the incidents involving Border Patrol agents on horseback and promise to take disciplinary actions if warranted.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Thursday that the Biden administration has demobilized units of Border Patrol agents on horseback in Del Rio, Texas, following controversy over the tactics they employed recently to disperse Haitian migrants.
The Del Rio bridge was housing as many as 15,000 migrant’s last weekend. Because of the incident involving Border Patrol agents on horseback the Biden Administration returned approximately 1,400 migrates back to their home country, released over 8,500 into the US and left around 5,000 immigrants living under the Del Rio bridge.
While the footage of Border Agents using horse reigns to push back migrants is disturbing Americans should be outraged at the fact that the Biden Administration is opening the borders and allowing illegal migrants to flood freely into the United States through our southern border.
The simple fact is the Border Agents at the Southern Border are overwhelmed, under supported, yet at times forced to protect our southern border with little to no support. Meanwhile the Biden Administration is racking up more debt by financially supporting more than half of the nation’s non-citizen population (including legal immigrants, foreign visa workers, and illegal aliens) use American taxpayer-funded welfare after arriving in the United States.
