42 Yr Old Orlando Woman Shot Multiple Times – Her Husband Charged With Murder

Must Read

In a tragic incident that has shaken the Orlando community, 41-year-old Lamar Antonio Bryant has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife, 42-year-old Takeshia Renee Eads. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a call on Tuesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. at the couple’s residence on West Livingston Street in the Orlo Vista neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Eads with multiple gunshot wounds; she was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Bryant was apprehended early Wednesday morning and booked into the Orange County Jail without bond. Court records reveal that he has a lengthy criminal history and had been arrested twice earlier this month, bonding out just two weeks prior to the fatal shooting.

Family members describe Eads as a devoted mother of four and grandmother of four, with another grandchild on the way. Her daughters remember her as a selfless woman who always prioritized the well-being of her loved ones. “No matter what time of night you called her, she was getting out of her bed and she was coming,” one of her daughters recounted.

Eads was also an active member of her community and church. Pastor Rosalind Eason of United Hands Ministry in Orlando recalled, “She touched every aspect of that school; she was in everything. Everybody knew her and they loved her.”

Neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots during the incident. One neighbor stated, “I heard like four or five shots back to back… could have been six.”

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances leading up to the shooting. They urge anyone experiencing domestic violence to seek help and reach out to available resources.

This tragedy underscores the devastating impact of domestic violence on families and communities, highlighting the critical need for awareness and intervention.
