These new lanes, part of the \u201cMoving Florida Forward\u201d initiative, run in both directions between U.S. 27 in Polk County and World Drive in Osceola County, covering approximately 7.5 miles of one of the region\u2019s most heavily trafficked corridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally projected to be completed by the end of 2025, the accelerated timeline has been achieved through innovative construction strategies and a commitment to expediting critical infrastructure projects.
