Political Bourbon just received reports from workers who build RV’s in the Elkhart Indiana area that Dealers are canceling orders as sales have dropped as much as 80%. Workers at one plant (Cruiser RV) were advised that they will work every other Friday until further notice and will be shut down the first week of April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With rising costs, interest rates, and now Diesel Fuel hitting $5.19 per gallon it should not be any surprise why the RV industry is taking a hit. Many in the area state that the RV industry is typically the first of many industries that start laying off when times get tough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
