The targeted opening date is set for 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAccording to recent U.S. Census data over a two-year period, Polk County is one of the fastestgrowing areas in the nation,\u201d said Danielle Drummond, MS, FACHE, President and CEO of Lakeland<br>Regional Health. \u201cExpanding comprehensive healthcare services to meet the local health needs of<br>our area is one of our community objectives in our 5-year strategic plan. This new location will help<br>us to achieve that goal while also addressing some of the opportunities highlighted in our Community<br>Health Needs Assessment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located on about 20 acres, the building will provide space for outpatient care, as well as additional<br>services. \u201cProviding access to quality healthcare continues to be of vital importance to our<br>organization, and this new project will allow us to expand that care to the northern part of our<br>county,\u201d said Patrick Phillips, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Chief Strategy Officer,<br>Lakeland Regional Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the project gets underway, more information about the new location, including details about the<br>healthcare services offered, will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About Lakeland Regional Health<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not-for-profit Lakeland Regional Health reaches beyond its hospital walls to promote wellness,<br>education and discovery in new places and new ways, providing a wide range of inpatient and<br>outpatient healthcare services at its Medical Center, Hollis Cancer Center and ambulatory care<br>locations.
