I\u2019d give my life for this country. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;All this for a f&#8212; photo-op?&#8221; one man scoffed off camera. &#8220;You ain&#8217;t gonna do s&#8212;!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday, President Joe Biden was touring parts of New York and New Jersey\u00a0that were battered\u00a0by Tropical Storm Ida last week.\u00a0Joe met with locals and addressed the continuing fallout from the storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wish every American could walk down this alley with me and see and talk to people who have been devastated, just talk to them,&#8221; Biden said in Queens. &#8220;None of them were shouting or complaining. Every one of them was thanking me that I was here, and hoping I could do something&#8230;Sometimes, some very bad things happen that have a tendency to bring out the best in a people and a country.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Climate change poses an existential threat to our lives, our economy,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The threat is here. It&#8217;s not going to get any better. The question is, can it get worse? We can stop it from getting worse. When I talk about building back better, I mean you can&#8217;t build it like it was before this last storm.&#8221; Experts &#8220;all tell us this is code red. The nation and the world are in peril. That&#8217;s not hyperbole.
