The cases occur between December 12 and December 29, according to Wuhan Municipal Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\" height=\"262\" src=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/wuhan-lab.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2017\" srcset=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/wuhan-lab.jpg 474w, https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/wuhan-lab-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview on Fox Nation radio the former president Mr. Trump said there was no need to use the word \u201cpotential\u201d when talking about the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has globally killed around 3.4 million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou said \u2018potential\u2019 that it came from the lab. I think you can take the word \u2018potential\u2019 out that it came from the lab, frankly,\u201d Mr Trump said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/trump-has-very-little-doubt-covid-19-originated-at-wuhan-lab\">Washington Examiner.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\" height=\"248\" src=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/trump-thumbs-up.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"2016\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/trump-thumbs-up.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/?attachment_id=2016\" class=\"wp-image-2016\" srcset=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/trump-thumbs-up.jpg 474w, https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/trump-thumbs-up-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: \u201cI think it came from the lab without the word \u2018potential\u2019\u2026I have very little doubt \u2014 and I mean very, very little doubt that it came from a lab.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trumps former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that he is not convinced the virus came from animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At an event earlier this month, PolitiFact\u2019s Katie Sanders noted that there is still \u201ca lot of cloudiness around the origins of COVID-19\u201d and asked Fauci whether he is \u201cstill confident that it developed naturally.\u201d He answered,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\" height=\"248\" src=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/fauci.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2018\" srcset=\"https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/fauci.jpg 474w, https:\/\/politicalbourbon.com\/en\/file\/2021\/05\/fauci-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, actually, I am not convinced about that. I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened. . . . Certainly, the people who investigated it say it likely was the emergence from an animal reservoir that then infected individuals, but it could have been something else, and we need to find that out. So, you know, that\u2019s the reason why I said I\u2019m perfectly in favor of any investigation that looks into the origin of the virus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump raised the possibility of a Wuhan lab leak back in May 2020 during his own press conference, indicating he had confidence COVID-19 may have started in the lab. The Biden administration has thus far not weighed in publicly on that intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As more information is released, we now must ask the question. Was Trump right all along? Why was there a cover up? Who is ultimately responsible?
